1972: Formation of the company in Munich, Article main focus: Military connectors (aviation)
1976: Design and manufacturing of our first D-Sub Connector for industry sector
1979: Supplier for „Spacelab“
1980: Manufacturing of FCT-designed D-Sub hoodseries
1985: Extension of our article portfolio to „Mixed Layout-connectors“, ”High Power,, “High Voltage-„, “Coaxial-„ and
         signalcontacts
1988: Begin of cable assembling manufacturing according customer specification, foundation of warehouse in “Buch am
         Buchrain”
1990: First production of our full metal hood series FMK
1991: Building start of manufacturing site in Leipzig
1992: Formation of our subsidiary FCT Evertronic (now named FCT electronic czech s.r.o.) in the Czech Republic
         near Pilsen
1995: On 24th February FCT Quality management was certified in accordance with ISO 9001
1997: Completion of the first manufacturing building in the Czech Republic.
1999: Foundation of subsidiary FCT electronic in the USA, completion of the second manufacturing building
2001: Start of the new FCT building in Stahlgruberring (design centre)
2002: Foundation of subsidiary FCT electronic in Thailand
2005: Full automatic production of SMT/THR connectors
2006: Third production hall built in the Czech Republic
2006: On 26th December FCT environmental management was certified in accordance with ISO 14001
2007: Massive Investment R&D, HR plus Hard- and Software
2008: Full automatic production for hood series
2009: On 30th June FCT Quality management was certified in accordance with
         ISO 13485:2003 + AC:2007 (medical technics)
2009: Our British subsidiary FCT electronics Ltd in England was founded
2010: E-Mobility – FCT electronic gmbh develops and tests charging connectors for the global network integration of 
         electric vehicles

FCT electronic gmbh is certified according to the following standards ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 13485:2003 + AC:2007.
