As one of the leading manufacturers of connectors, solid metal and plastic hoods, as well as contacts, we can supply you with hoods (size 1-5) and contacts as non-magnetic components for the product lines D-Sub Miniature, High Density and Mixed Layout. For the manufacture of these connectors, hoods and contacts, non-magnetic materials and alloys are carefully selected, utilized, measured and tested.

The magnetization of non-magnetic connectors, hoods and contacts is measured by the permeability µr, which is the ratio of the permeability of a specific medium to the permeability of free space given by the magnetic constant µ0 (µr=µ/µ0). The magnetic permeability µ represents the degree of magnetization of a material in response to a magnetic field.
