FCT group – „E-mobility - FCT electronic declares EU conformity of its charging connector appliance”
After the successful certification of their charging connector appliance for electric cars, conducted by the German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies VDE, FCT electronic GmbH has recently been able to issue an EU Conformity Declaration in compliance with the European Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG, for the infrastructure charging sockets and the plug of its charging cable. In doing so, reference has been made to DIN EN 62196-1 (VDE 0623-5): 2004-6 and the Standard Sheets 2II-Type 2 62196-2 Ed. 1.0 23H/250/CDV:2010-12 as commonly applied standards.
The CE identification marking is valid under EU Law for specific goods and products. By labeling products with the CE-logo the manufacturer confirms that the product is in compliance with current EU regulations, which are specifically related to this product.
